Experience:
Arlene began working as a tax and estate planning attorney with Howard O. Bernstein, P.C. in January of 2007. Arlene's practice focuses on individual tax and asset planning opportunities, ranging from simple to complex estate planning and probate. She also handles general corporate matters dealing with capital structure and business formation, including corporate, partnership and sole proprietor taxation. Her experience encompasses commercial and government proposal, procurement and contracts. Arlene has extensive experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance. Before attending law school, Arlene founded and operated Aspen Resources Limited, Inc., an environmental technical and regulatory consulting firm specializing in creative solutions for the treatment, storage, transportation and disposal of problematic radioactive and hazardous waste, as well as data management and security of sensitive materials.
